Description

CI 12120, also known as Red 14 Lake or D&C Red No. 14 Aluminum Lake, is a synthetic colorant widely used in cosmetic and personal care products. This organic pigment belongs to the monoazo dye family and is characterized by its vibrant red hue. CI 12120 is produced by combining the water-soluble dye D&C Red No. 14 with aluminum hydroxide, resulting in an insoluble pigment that provides excellent color stability.
