Description

CI 10020, also known as Fast Green FCF or Food Green 3, is a synthetic triarylmethane dye used in cosmetics and personal care products. This water-soluble colorant imparts a vibrant green hue to various formulations, including soaps, shampoos, and skincare products. CI 10020 is approved by the FDA for use in cosmetics and is considered safe when used as directed.

The molecular structure of CI 10020 consists of three aromatic rings connected by a central carbon atom, with additional sulfonic acid groups that enhance its solubility in water.
