CETETH-45 is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) ether of cetyl alcohol, functioning as an emulsifying and surfactant agent in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This non-ionic surfactant is derived from ethoxylated cetyl alcohol, with an average of 45 ethylene oxide units per molecule. Its molecular structure allows it to effectively bridge the gap between oil and water-based components in formulations, promoting stability and enhancing the overall texture of products.
