CARPOTROCHE BRASILIENSIS SEED OIL

Description

Carpotroche brasiliensis seed oil is a potent botanical extract derived from the seeds of the Carpotroche brasiliensis tree, native to the Amazon rainforest. This oil has gained attention in skincare formulations due to its unique composition and potential benefits for skin health. Rich in hydnocarpic, chaulmoogric, and gorlic acids, the oil exhibits strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

The oil's primary active compounds are cyclic fatty acids, which have been traditionally used to treat various skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and fungal infections. These fatty acids penetrate the skin barrier effectively, promoting cellular regeneration and enhancing the skin's natural defense mechanisms.

Carpotroche brasiliensis seed oil also contains antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radical damage and environmental stressors. Its emollient properties make it an excellent ingredient for moisturizing and improving skin texture. The oil is particularly beneficial for acne-prone and sensitive skin types due to its ability to balance sebum production and reduce inflammation.

When incorporating this oil into skincare formulations, it is typically used in concentrations ranging from 0.5% to 5%, depending on the desired effect and product type.
