CAPRAE LAC
Description
Caprae Lac, commonly known as goat's milk, is a versatile and nutrient-rich ingredient in skincare formulations. This natural emollient contains lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates and hydrates the skin. Goat's milk is rich in vitamins A, B6, B12, and E, which contribute to skin cell regeneration and protection against free radical damage.
The fat molecules in Caprae Lac are similar in size to human skin cells, allowing for easy absorption and moisturization without clogging pores. It contains caprylic acid, a medium-chain fatty acid with antimicrobial properties that may help combat acne-causing bacteria. The protein content in goat's milk, particularly casein, can form a protective film on the skin, reducing moisture loss and improving skin barrier function.
Caprae Lac has a pH level close to human skin, making it less likely to cause irritation compared to other milk-based ingredients. Its natural content of selenium may provide some protection against UV damage and support overall skin health. In skincare products, Caprae Lac is often used in cleansers, moisturizers, and masks for its nourishing and soothing properties, particularly beneficial for dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin.
