Description

Calcium oxide, also known as quicklime or burnt lime, is a versatile inorganic compound with significant applications in skincare formulations. This alkaline substance is produced by heating limestone and has a strong ability to absorb moisture from its surroundings. In skincare, calcium oxide primarily functions as a pH adjuster and buffering agent, helping to maintain the stability and effectiveness of various formulations.
