Description

Calcium hydroxide, also known as slaked lime or hydrated lime, is a potent alkaline compound with diverse applications in skincare and dermatological treatments. This white, crystalline powder is formed when calcium oxide reacts with water, resulting in a highly basic substance with a pH of approximately 12.5. In skincare formulations, calcium hydroxide serves multiple purposes, primarily as a pH adjuster and buffering agent.
