C13-15 Alkane is a synthetic hydrocarbon derived from petroleum sources, commonly used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. This colorless, odorless liquid serves as an emollient and non-polar solvent, providing a lightweight, silky feel to products without leaving a greasy residue. Its molecular structure consists of straight-chain alkanes with 13 to 15 carbon atoms, resulting in excellent spreading properties and rapid absorption into the skin.
