Description

Benzyl nicotinate is a potent vasodilator and skin penetration enhancer widely used in topical formulations. This ester compound, derived from nicotinic acid and benzyl alcohol, is known for its ability to increase blood flow to the skin's surface, resulting in a temporary warming sensation and flushing effect.

In skincare and cosmetic products, benzyl nicotinate is primarily employed for its circulation-boosting properties, which can enhance the delivery of other active ingredients. It's commonly found in anti-cellulite creams, muscle rubs, and hair growth formulations.
