Description

Basic Red 76, also known as Basic Red 51, is a synthetic cationic dye commonly used in hair coloring products. This vibrant red colorant belongs to the azo dye family and is particularly effective in semi-permanent and temporary hair color formulations. Its cationic nature allows it to adhere well to the hair shaft, providing intense color results without the need for oxidative processing.

Basic Red 76 is prized for its ability to impart a rich, vivid red hue to hair, ranging from deep burgundy to bright cherry tones depending on the concentration used. It performs exceptionally well on pre-lightened or naturally light hair, offering maximum color impact. This dye is often combined with other basic dyes to create custom shades and enhance color depth.
