BASIC ORANGE 2

Description

Basic Orange 2, also known as Solvent Orange 34, is a synthetic azo dye commonly used in hair coloring products. This vibrant orange colorant provides warm, golden-orange tones to hair and is particularly effective in creating copper and strawberry blonde shades. The molecule's structure allows for efficient penetration into the hair shaft, resulting in long-lasting color.

In hair dye formulations, Basic Orange 2 is often combined with other dyes to achieve a wide range of orange and red hues. It exhibits good stability in various hair care product bases and demonstrates compatibility with common hair dye ingredients. The dye's performance is enhanced in alkaline environments, making it suitable for permanent and semi-permanent hair color systems.

While Basic Orange 2 offers excellent color payoff, it's important to note that it may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. As with all hair dyes, patch testing is recommended before use. Additionally, this colorant is not approved for use around the eye area or in products that may come into contact with mucous membranes. Proper formulation and usage guidelines must be followed to ensure consumer safety and optimal color results.
