Description

Azulene is a versatile and potent skincare ingredient derived from chamomile, yarrow, and blue tansy essential oils. This deep blue, organic compound belongs to the class of isomers of naphthalene and possesses remarkable anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Azulene's molecular structure allows it to penetrate the skin effectively, making it valuable in various skincare formulations.

The ingredient is particularly beneficial for sensitive and irritated skin, as it helps soothe redness, calm inflammation, and reduce skin reactivity.
