AZADIRACHTA INDICA SEED OIL

Description

Azadirachta indica seed oil, commonly known as neem oil, is a potent botanical extract derived from the seeds of the neem tree native to the Indian subcontinent. This versatile oil has been used for centuries in traditional medicine and skincare due to its wide range of beneficial properties.

Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and bioactive compounds, neem oil offers multiple skin benefits. It exhibits strong antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it effective against acne-causing bacteria and soothing irritated skin. The oil's high content of nimbin and nimbidin contributes to its antifungal and antibacterial activities.

Neem oil is also valued for its moisturizing and nourishing capabilities, helping to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Its ability to penetrate deeply into the skin allows for efficient delivery of its active components. Additionally, the oil contains vitamin E and carotenoids, which provide antioxidant protection against free radical damage.

While generally well-tolerated, neem oil can be potent and may cause irritation in sensitive individuals. It's typically used in low concentrations in skincare formulations to harness its benefits while minimizing potential adverse reactions.
