Description

Ammonium Myreth Sulfate is a widely used surfactant in personal care products, particularly in shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers. This synthetic ingredient is derived from coconut oil and ethylene oxide, combining the cleansing properties of sulfates with the mildness of ethoxylated compounds.

As an anionic surfactant, Ammonium Myreth Sulfate effectively removes dirt, oil, and other impurities from the skin and hair. It produces a rich, stable foam that enhances the cleansing experience and helps distribute the product evenly. Compared to traditional sulfates like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ammonium Myreth Sulfate is generally considered gentler on the skin and less likely to cause irritation.
