Description

Adeps Bovis, also known as beef tallow or bovine fat, is a natural, animal-derived ingredient used in various skincare and cosmetic formulations. This saturated fat is extracted from the fatty tissues of cattle and undergoes a purification process to remove impurities. Rich in fatty acids, particularly stearic and palmitic acids, Adeps Bovis exhibits emollient properties that can help soften and smooth the skin.

The unique composition of Adeps Bovis allows it to form a protective barrier on the skin's surface, reducing transepidermal water loss and maintaining hydration. Its occlusive nature makes it particularly beneficial for dry, rough, or compromised skin.
