Mentha Piperita, commonly known as peppermint, is a potent botanical ingredient widely used in skincare formulations. This hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint, contains a high concentration of menthol, which imparts a cooling sensation upon application. Peppermint oil, extracted from the leaves and flowering tops of the plant, exhibits antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties.

In skincare products, Mentha Piperita serves multiple functions.
