Description

Maltodextrin is a versatile polysaccharide derived from starch, commonly sourced from corn, wheat, or potatoes. This white, slightly sweet powder is widely used in cosmetic and skincare formulations due to its multifunctional properties. As a hygroscopic substance, maltodextrin acts as an effective humectant, attracting and retaining moisture to help maintain skin hydration. Its ability to form a smooth, non-greasy film on the skin's surface makes it an excellent texture enhancer and emulsion stabilizer in various skincare products.
