Description

Madecassoside is a bioactive compound derived from the Centella asiatica plant, also known as gotu kola or tiger grass. This pentacyclic triterpenoid saponin is one of the primary active constituents responsible for the plant's medicinal properties. Madecassoside exhibits potent anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound-healing effects, making it a valuable ingredient in skincare formulations.

Studies have shown that madecassoside stimulates collagen synthesis, promotes fibroblast proliferation, and enhances skin barrier function.
