Licorice Extract

Description

Licorice extract, derived from the root of the Glycyrrhiza glabra plant, is a potent skincare ingredient known for its multifaceted benefits. Its primary active compound, glabridin, exhibits significant skin-brightening properties by inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production. This makes licorice extract particularly effective in addressing hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.
