Description

Laureth-2 is a versatile emulsifier and surfactant widely used in skincare and cosmetic formulations. Derived from lauryl alcohol and ethylene oxide, this synthetic compound belongs to the ethoxylated fatty alcohol family. Its primary function is to reduce surface tension between oil and water phases, allowing for stable emulsions and improved product texture.
